The theory of caring is an integral part of nursing practice. Jean Watson’s theory of caring when applied to practice enhances the nurse patient relationship which in turn promotes healing. Watson... utilizes ten curative factors to make a relationship between the nurse and patient. These curative factors are where caring is applied to nursing practice: 1.
