"Back pain that is not getting better." HPI: 42-year-old AA male presents to the clinic today with c/o low back pain. He describes waking up with the pain approximately 1 month ago and describes it ... as a constant ache with occasional sharp shooting pains down his left posterior leg. He reports that he is more tired than usual as he awakes several times during the night secondary to pain. He states that the pain becomes worse with sitting and bending over and is somewhat alleviated by standing or lying flat and use of ibuprofen.
