Purpose: The purpose of this experiment is to show the different ways on adding vectors. Also to show us how to find the resultant vector by graphical, analytical and experiment . Theory : A vector ... is a quantity that has both a magnitude and a direction, such as a force, a velocity or an acceleration due to gravity. A vector can be represented as a symbol (capital letter with an arrow above it, indicating that the quantity is a vector). Experimental Method : To do this experiment, the tools that we used a Force table with pulleys, weight hangers, a protractor, a set of slotted weights ( 150g, 200g,250g), and a ruler . To conduct experiment, we Clamp the pulleys onto the force table at the specified angles and add the required weight to each hanger as found in the three measurements. Next, we had to find the magnitude and direction of the equilibrant (E) that will keep the central ring centered on the center pin.
