ANACARDIACEAE Toxicodendron diversilobrum A woody vine which is about to climb up a tree. Deciduous leaves are thin and dull. Locale: Switzer Falls Recreation Area, along Gabrielino Trail and Arroyo Seco riparian LAURACEAE Umbellularia californica Umbrella-shaped hardwood tree with frangrant, green leaves which are similar to bay leaves. Locale: Switzer Falls recreation area, near the car parking lot, in dense scrub and chaparral community PLANTANACEAE Plantanus racemosa The large tree with two trunks splitting into many branches. The tree consists of green and reddish yellow deciduous leaves. The leaves are dark green and oval shaped.
