Improve my knowledge of respiratory function and diseases. Complete respiratory subject specific exams in the APEA myQbank. A consistent score of at least 90% is the goal. Review respiratory/pulmonary in the Clinical Guidelines in Primary Care textbook. Read at least 5- advanced practice nursing/medical journal articles related to respiratory. Attend the online FNP Intensive week 7 of this course and focus on respiratory during the review. These goals should be accomplished at week 7 after intensive review, prior to our APEA post-predictor exam. I will continue to review necessary materials throughout week 8 before taking the APEA postpredictor exam. Improving my respiratory assessment, diagnosis, and treatment skills will ensure that I have the knowledge to care for patients and make evidence-based decisions regarding their care. I will be able to collaborate with other members of the care team effectively as well as be able to provide accurate information regarding diagnosis and possible treatment options. Improving my knowledge in respiratory will also help prepare me for the national certification exam. Build upon my knowledge of dermatology conditions and disorders.
