Physical Exam: The vital signs that were taken were blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature. Digestive System o Auscultation through the stethoscope over the entire abdomen to hear bowel sounds. The bowels sounds will be clear as there is no obstruction of the bowels. o Palpitation with hands on the entire abdomen, specifically the upper right quadrant. The patient experiences discomfort when the upper right quadrant is palpitated. o Inspection of the abdomen will also take place through visual means and it will show that it is distended. Cardiac System: o Auscultation performed with a stethoscope over the heart to listen to the heart sound. The heart sound in the patient will be normal. o Palpation of the of the radial pulse which is near the wrist, the patient will exhibit a good radial pulse that happens at the same time.
