Treatment Modality and Efficacy of Approach The treatment modalities employed with clients SL, and NL are psychological evaluations, psychotherapy, and medication interventions. Medication regimen included for client NL are: Quillavant 25ml/day, and Sertraline 50 mg daily (Carlat, 2018). Individual psychotherapy has been utilized with client NL, and additional group/family therapy has been utilized for both NL, and SL, using cognitive behavioral therapy. Additional therapeutic referrals are provided to a psychiatrist, and ADHD support groups. The treatment modalities selected for ADHD are to relieve symptoms of inattention by increasing attention, decreasing impulsiveness, and hyperactivity (APA, 2013). Additionally, the medication regimen will assist with feelings of depression, and psychosis.
