Summary The author through this article sought to analyse the case of discrimination against children from poor backgrounds where kids from parents earning and working above a certain level of income per week get to be entitled to additional learning time, usually fifteen more hours than the rest in England (Lyons, 2021). The article discovered that this policy inappropriately benefits only advantaged families in England's top four earners. The article is informative as it outlines the advantages of providing each child with foundation in early years of learning. Purpose The article had the objective to unveil evidence of how children in the age bracket between 3-4 years tend to be locked out of early education years.
