Language Development > QUESTIONS & ANSWERS > Quiz: Quiz 3: Unified Modeling Language (UML)[ALL ANSWERS VERIFIED,100%] (All)
The following quiz has 30 questions (1 point each) consisting of 3 different question types: True/False; Multiple Choice (single answer); and, Multiple Answer (select all that apply, to include the... possibility that none apply). The questions are based on various aspects of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as described in Craig Larman's text Applying UML and Patterns: An Introduction to Object-Oriented Analysis and Design and Iterative Development, Third Edition (2005 version). The text can be accessed at O'Reilly's Safari Books Online website via the Georgia Tech Library. https://www.library.gatech.edu/ (https://www.library.gatech.edu/) GT Library Link to Larman UML Text (https://gatech-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/primoexplore/ fulldisplay? docid=01GALI_GIT_ALMA51312623890002947&context=L&vid=01GALI_GIT&search_scope=default_scope&tab=d [https://gatech-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/primo-explore/fulldisplay? docid=01GALI_GIT_ALMA51312623890002947&context=L&vid=01GALI_GIT&search_scope=default_scope The quiz is open book/open notes. You are not allowed to seek assistance from fellow classmates or other individuals, either directly or via any other communication channels including Piazza, Slack, StackOverflow, etc. You have four attempts to take the quiz. Each attempt will be timed to allow for a 60 minute session. Your last (most recent) score will be your final score for the event. Previous attempts will not be considered. The scores will be muted for the duration of the assignment, to include the 2-day late period after the initial 6-day* testing window. While I understand that this doesn't provide you direct information about how you performed on a specific session, having the possibility to retake the quiz does offer you the opportunity to improve your score if you feel that you have a better perspective on some of the questions at a later date. Bottom line: while many quizzes or tests only offer one opportunity to submit answers, these quizzes at least offer you an opportunity to retake them based on your feeling about your performance. Scores will be published after the testing window and late period have been completed. Also, like assignments, if you retake the quiz during the 2-day late period, your final score will be penalized in accordance with the syllabus/course policies. It doesn't matter if you completed earlier quizzes during the 6-day* testing window - only the last attempt counts. *The usual 5-day testing window has been extended by one day.
