INTERDISCIPLINARY PLAN PROPOSAL 2 Interdisciplinary Plan Proposal Introduction The issue that I am trying to solve is lessen the time a patient takes from when they check into the hospital, at the ... reception, to when they leave, after collecting their medication. There have been complaints from patients that they spend a lot of time in the hospital. It is then that the nurse manager decided to introduce electronic health recording (EHR) to solve the issue. The information technology department in collaboration with the nurse manager will be in charge of integrating the EHR system into all hospital operations (Moss, Seifert, and O’Sullivan, 2016). Objective Integrate electronic health records into all hospital operations with the aim of dispensing medical care faster. The EHR will reduce the time taken to retrieve patient records that makes patients wait for long.
