Cultural diversity, also known as multiculturalism is the existence of a group of diverse people from various cultures (Puri, 2016). The differences occur in terms of many factors such as age, gender, ... religion, race, sexual orientation, social status, ethnicity among others. Cultural diversity has an impact on our day-to-day relationships, interaction in the workplace, in learning institutions and other social places (Puri, 2016). The workplace is a dynamic and multicultural place where employees have different abilities, talents and experiences. Most corporations are being encouraged to embrace diversity by hiring employees from minority communities in order to increase representation of these groups, and to meet certain ethical outlines. According to Puri (2016), cultural diversity can be supported by understanding about other cultures. Muslim cultural diversity involves exercising the Islam culture in a society where members believe in different religions.
