Computer Science > ESSAY > TOGAF ESSAY: The Open Group Architecture Frame Components (All)
The Open Group Architecture Frame Components Technology has significantly impacted solving higher administration costs problems for businesses through automation of tasks. The Open Group Architecture... Frame (TOGAF) helps organizations identify essential components that can be integrated and ensure the proposed information technology solution is effective. For this proposal, business design, facts architecture, software architecture, and methodological architecture represent the pillars to ensure the automation of tasks solution success (Nugraha & Handoko, 2019). Under business architecture, the organization adopts a business strategy that desires to create value for its customer worldwide and make a difference in producing the most trusted and preferred branded products. The business strategy is implemented by inspiring employees to emphasize the wants of clients and license associates by getting out into the marketplace to pay attention, discern and learn to retain the worldview. Also, the organization has well-organized governance, with management teams being integrated and dependent on each other in collecting client data, evaluating, and making decisions. Performing environmental scanning is one of its business processes that entails a focused diagnosis of the current and potential business platforms before starting its business. The process enables the firm to constantly analyze all external and internal factors relevant to its operations. The factors evaluated include global environmental influences, employment laws, and tax policies. The other process is strategy formulation which involves selecting the best course of action to realize organizational goals and purpose. Data architecture is another TOGAF that describes the firm's rational and somatic data sets and the related facts administration possessions. The organization has integrated data sets that enable quick analysis of market demands before the managers implement a sound judgment. Besides, data management, such as data handling and storage facilities, remote data access and management systems, and data management control, are in order and function purposely. On application architecture, the organization needs to deploy a digital signature information system that would allow online signing contracts and filling expenses to manage invoices. The digital signature system will be responsible for signing contracts and filling expenses that save time and cost of traveling to find suppliers and contractors. It will be integrated with the transaction processing system to share clients, suppliers, and contractors' data for informed decisions. Another application system that will integrate with the digital signature system is enterprise resource planning, which enables the appropriate allocation of resources, including finances, to fund this proposal (Sofyana & Putera, 2019). Lastly, the technical architecture includes the hardware infrastructure, such as computers, printers, and mobile devices. The organization should have updated and functioning computers that will allow the installation of the newly adopted software to enhance automation services. Furthermore, network infrastructure should be put in place to ensure that the integrated systems communicate remotely. The rationale for the Inclusion of Components from TOGAF Like the other information frameworks in business, the open group architecture will enable the business to align information technology goals, such as tasks' automation, with general business goals. Furthermore, I have included these components since they will help the organization organize cross-departmental information efforts. The components will help the business describe and establish requirements before keeping the process functioning quickly with minimal errors. The identified components will also simplify the complex technical processes, including installation and integration, by organizing a set return on investments and how various business portions will contribute to achieving them (Kucuk, 2016). Lastly, these components will help reduce unnecessary costs and boost the organization's efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability. Impact of TOGAF Components on Effectiveness of Business Processes The components will help reduce time-taken completing business processes and reduce cost and risk related to the operation of the enterprise's infrastructure. Due to the improved flexibility and freedom within the working environment will enable the organization to quickly accomplish complex business, such as filing expenses, bookkeeping, and signing contracts. Thus, the components enable ready business processes growth and easy restructuring for better results. [Show More]
