Natural Selection Summary Essay Natural selection is when a species is separated from each other and the species separated has to survive in different climates. Over a generation or two, the species ... adapts to the environment they live in, while the other species remains the same. when they see each other again, they are too different to mate. Natural selection can also be when a certain gene (like the brown and white mice) is different and better adapted to the environment they live in than the rest, and that gene is carried on through generations until that gene is the only one left. I will be giving at least 3 examples that support the main idea that I stated above. The first one will be about the mouse activity that we did. The second will be about the different types of lizards on the islands in the Bahamas. The third example will be about the finches in the Galapagos islands. [Show More]
