In the course of technological advancement, however, different means to handle breast cancer have been provided in the community including the use of gene therapy to control cancer cells in the bodies of affected individuals (Fukuhara et al. 1375). Gene therapy works through treatment and replacement of the genes that are infected by cancer in the body of an individual. This therapy model is extensive and requires the studying of an individual to help in treating breast cancer. Hence, the use of the gene therapy model in handling cancer is an appropriate alternative to conventional treatment models.
