NR 512-Week 3 Virtual Learning Experience What do you see as a benefit to augmenting course assignments through the use of a virtual learning environment (VLE)? Response: Virtual learning environm ... ent is an online system, with a simulated platform using threedimensional technology to provide learning materials to scholars through the web. The user has the ability to practice real life situations through digital environment (Vasquez et al., 2015). This system also allows for professors to provide information to their students. A virtual learning environment also allows for communication to be opened up throughout everyone in the class. This may include discussion threads, student surveys, or even assignments. Virtual learning experience, allows for students to learn at their pace. This type of learning is important for students whom have full time jobs and families of their own, or if someone is sick and in the hospital they still have the ability to complete their work. They are provided with their own flexibility. The use of new information and new technologies allows for improvement in the permanent education programs for nursing (Silva & Cordeiro, 2013).
