Christianity displays stereotypical religious prejudice of homosexuality, opposes same-sex marriage, misogyny, and feminist backlash (Adams et al., 2018). Examples of sexism, classism, and racism Black people were also among those of the oppressed groups. “Race and religion were intertwined as justifications for slavery in the Americas where “heathen†black Africans were stolen from their homelands and forced into slavery for the remainder of their lives†(Adams et al., 2018, p. 266).
