Today Evidence based practice project devises the applied guidance of prototypical modification in a hospital. In order to analyze the influence of prototypical modification in a hospital, Arkansas Heart Hospital is chosen. The research shows that the implementation of computers or rather technology has been very helpful by increasing the productivity of the nurses as well as the number of patients that come to the hospital and making it easy for nurses to record their data and assist them in the best possible way. The agenda behind conducting an evidence based project is to do evaluation on the subject of “Implementation of technology to make recording accessing of data easy for nurses”. An interesting thing that came out of this research was that the number one reason for nurses to make errors and not accept technology is the lack of education as well as training in the matter. However, regardless of the education, nurses need to learn the art of recording as well as accessing the data on patient’s bedside because in case of emergency, a new nurse does not have the time to find the files or call the old nurse to know the details but rather just needs the required information which can only be done by implementation of technology.
