Explanation of Problem or Issue In the Emergency Department, we should only have 3 patients at a time and only 1 patient if the patient is critical and requires one to one care. We are short-staffed for our department. However, due to the census, we are not short-staffed. We also have the responsibility of doing our housekeeping after 1900. Not only are we taking care of 4-5 patients at a time, but we are also doing our housekeeping as well.
