D170 Task1 D170 Task 1: Classroom Management Plan WGU â€“ D170 A1. Future Class and Activities The future class that I would like to teach is fourth grade science. The two instructional activities that I would include in my class that are relevant to my classroom management plan would be science centers and online science tools. Depending on the school schedule, the science centers would be used on Monday/Wednesday/Fridays and the online science tools would be used Tuesdays/Thursdays. On the science center days, the first 10 minutes of class would be used to go over previously learned topics that correlate to the new topic. Next, we will do a 10 to 15-minute lesson that has to do with the science topic we are learning about that day. After the lesson, the students will break into their groups and spend 10 to 15 minutes at four centers. The centers can include teacher time, a science lab, a science game, a short video and worksheet, and science vocabulary. When the center time is done, we will take 10 minutes to get back together as a class and discuss what we have learned and complete a short exit worksheet. During this time the students will also receive their worksheet for homework. The days that we use the online science tools we can use a variety of online sources.
