At the request of the CTO, a SWOT analysis has been completed below. (S)trengths Redundancy can bee seen in the for all major hardware components. Web and Database servers are replicated throughout the multiple sites and are setup in a way where they can run independently of one-another, should that need arise. This eliminates down time and provides great security to the Businesss Continuity, in the event of a natural disaster other unforeseen circumstance. They have adequately setup power redundancy as well at each site by the placement or proper UPS/APCs and tied in the proper power source to be picked up from their generator. This is key in maintaining 99%+ uptimes for all equipment and web services. After all, if your equipment is off and your website is down, all business “production†comes to a halt. This is especially important to any businesss consumer reputation and trust amongst its customers. IDS systems harden the network infrastructure and mitigate, quarantine or alert any potential risks. This is key to any network with site-to-site topology. Any bit of proprietary information remains behind the firewall and withing the intranet securely while the IDS systems are forward facing and monitoring all traffic in and out of the network.
