His tasks including working with the others in the IT department to ensure HIPPA compliance within emails, the Mosaiq EHR operating system is functional and able to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the workdays, as well as after-hours updates. Hes also responsible to make sure all computers are up-to-date and replace them as needed with updated versions. These systems ensure our practice operates smoothly in treating radiation oncology patients. Matt has been with the company for 10 years and has been able to witness paper charting and the conversion to Electronic Health Records using Mosaiq. This application is specific for radiation oncology, created by Elekta Care Management. It allows everything to be streamlined from consultation appointments to treatment regimens to follow-up care, and prescription refills. Unfortunately, theres no other system like it. Other practices that dont use Mosaiq must use multiple programs to achieve the same thing that Mosaiq can do. Its customizable for each employee based on their job-specific functions. The nursing setup is quite different than the receptionists arrangement.
