Summary of Business Situation Fuel efficiency has become a major topic recently due to the many benefits it can bring to the economy. Fuel efficient vehicles are becoming increasingly popular and the benefits these vehicles bring can help the society immensely. Vehicles that are fuel efficient can help reduce fuel costs and reduce carbon pollution caused by the emission of carbon dioxide into the air. Furthermore, it helps to reduce the cost of vehicles and promote environment sustainability and protection. In this business situation, two vehicle brands (Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic) are used to identify if a significant difference in fuel efficiency exists. B1. Summary of Data The data that will be used in the analysis is obtained from using two datasets containing 16 data points for each type of Car (Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic) to determine which car is more fuel efficient. Data is obtained from years 2006-2021 and fuel efficiency is measured miles/gallon per each car.
