Training_and_Development_task_1.2.docx XWT1: Training Plan Training Plan STATEMENT OF PROBLEM AND PURPOSE Alliah Construction unfortunately has experienced a hand full of serious accidents lately. In addition to that, The OSHA inspector has suggested the need for an updated training plan for Roofing Supervisors. The purpose of the training program is to provide a better understanding for Roofing Supervisors regarding safety violations and practices that can cause injuries and accidents on job sites. This new training plan will assure that Alliah Construction has effectively trained and completed the onboarding process to the best of our ability. TRAINING PROGRAM OBJECTIVES This training program has multiple important objectives. However, the main key objectives are to educate and properly onboard Roofing Supervisors on the areas of specialty in their perspective job. Most importantly, the program will educate them on the importance of proper use of equipment and safety equipment, as well as safety practices on job sites to eliminate violations and fines from OSHA. SKILLS GAPS The Osha inspector discovered skill gaps when the inspection was completed. These skills gaps are requirements for each Roofing Supervisor and their employees. The 4 skill gaps are listed below. 1. Fall protection equipment that is necessary for roof installations, such as a safety harness and ropes- were not present and were not being used by employees. 2.
