The Work Breakdown Structure or WBS is a diagram that shows each item in the steps that it is expected to be completed in. The tasks are stacked in a hierarchical structure to show the importance and the order in which they need to be done. The importance of the Work Breakdown Structure Developing a WBS is an important part of the planning process for any project.
