Motivation Motivation is an essential element in teaching students to engage in learning. The UDL lesson plan has music, games, and worksheets to motivate the students to be enthusiastically receptive as they learn to count from one to ten. The curriculum begins with musical chairs that have colorful numbers on the back of the chairs. The teacher will ask the students what number is on the back of their chairs throughout the game.
