Carl also reported he had many first names but likes to go by Carl. Carl presented as a 19-year-old male, appeared to be his stated age, dressed casually, appropriately. He sat comfortably in the chair, a bit slouched, provided proper eye contact, and at the time had repetitive movements. His motor activity was appropriate, and his speech was pressured. Carl reported his mood as "calm." On a scale of 0-10, with 0 the worst and 10 being the best, Carl reported he is a 5, down the middle. Carl was alert but not overly energetic. His affect was appropriate and within a normal range. He was friendly and cooperative, and his overall behavior was calm and controlled.
