Seyler and Brizee (2019) explain how the Toulmin method helps analyze an argument and prepare (p.76). I choose my topic as the effects on society in the past two years of celebrity news's rising popularity. This topic was too broad, so I decide to make a list of specific topics. I decide to choose my topic, suicide-related to social media affecting young adults. I have been successful in finding an article related to suicide and social media. I do not plan to change my strategies. The only additional source I would like to find an article from an actual celebrity talking about suicide attempts and social media pressure.
