Interpersonal Process Recording.docx NU 309C Interpersonal Process Recording NU 309C Interpersonal Process Recording Introduction On October 22nd, 2018, at Aurora Wauwatosa Behavioral Health Unit, I had the opportunity to talk with a patient that currently resided there. The patient is a 23-year-old African American male with an admitting diagnosis of anxiety and depression. I spoke to this patient for almost one-hour. During my time spoke with him, he was excited yet anxious due to the fact that he was getting discarged the next day. He voluntarily admitted himself due to the fact of experiencing five deaths in the past month. According to Eriksons Eight Stages of Development, the patient has achieved intimacy versus isolation (Halter, 2014, p. 153). The patient may at this point feel isolated due to the fact that he has lost five close people in his life (Halter, 2014, p. 153).
