Speech_Week_2_Assignment_2.docx Week 2 Assignment 2: Presentation Topics Chamberlain University College of Nursing SPCH277N: Interpersonal Communication Communication presentation topics 1.Defensive and supportive communication 2.Perception 3.Self-Awareness 4.Group problem solving 5.Managing Conflict 6.Nonverbal communication Chosen topic - Defensive and supportive communication I chose this topic because it stood out to me that this type of communication is very crucial considering our age and status as students. As students, we often require giving constructive criticism and defensive feedback in order to help each other learn and establish a stronger relationship through communication. It is imperative that we understand defensive and supportive communication, to create healthy relationships and a good understanding of strategies to participate in the human experience (McLean, 2018, p. 434).
