There is an array of business plan models that are used for different ventures. These are customizable and should fit the purpose for which a business plan is required. Organizations that are in need of venture capital will be required to submit a written business plan (Lange et al.). The content necessary will depend on the business venture at hand. Any business plan is not unlike a roadmap that provides detailed directions to the desired destination. The destination of the organization lays out who the organization is, what their financial state looks like and where they wish to be as the end organizational goals or how they will maintain long term success. A plan should be as detailed as possible starting with a description and history of the company and a brief mission statement. The rest of the plan should include the organizations products or services provided, a market analysis and a deep dive into the financials of the organization.
