Over and over we here about how Americans are too focused on their phones. But on Sundays in the fall, there is typically a certain thing most people are looking down at their phone to check. Sunday in the United States is for football, American football to be exact. And since we are living in an era surrounded by technology, it is extremely easy for fans to check the score of their favorite team with that same phone they use throughout the rest of the week. At the moment, the only American football organization in the United States is the National Football League, or the NFL. The NFL has taken advantage of this technological era we are living in and made an application, or app, that can update fans of all thirty-two NFL teams on scores and updates. The NFL app is ranked as the number three sports app on the Apple App Store according to Similar Web (Similar Web, 2020). But to review an app that has become increasingly vital for the busy fans of the NFL, it is most important to identify what fans are looking for most in an app revolving around their favorite sport.
