Learning Objective: Students will understand how to identify the problem and solution of a fiction story. Strategies to Communicate the Learning Objective (Collaborative Learning) 1. Think-Pair-Share a. I will read a story to the students. I will pause here and there and ask students to think quietly for a minute or two about the conflict of the story. Then, the students will share their thoughts to the classmate next to them. After the students have enough time to discuss their thinking, I will choose a student to participate and ask him or her what is the conflict of the story and write it down on the board. 2. Visual aids a. In a diverse classroom, it is important to incorporate materials that are based on the students™ learning needs because no two students are alike when it comes to learning. Aside from explaining to students the learning objectives as a way to communicate, I will use visual aids to communicate. b. I will have the learning objectives written or posted on the whitebo. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . .. .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . .
