In that section we discussed many ways that conflict is managed. I discovered that I managed conflict with avoidance and gunnysacking which is like, œcarrying an imaginary bag into which we place unresolved conflicts or grievances over time (McLean 2018, p. 438). While learning this I also pieced together that boundary setting was a huge issue for me due to avoiding conflict. This led to resentment, anger, and occasionally inability to regulate tense emotions. 8B.
