Preying on Children: The Emerging Psychology of Pedophiles. The New York Times. This is a short article from The New York Times about pedophiles who prey on children under the age of 13. In this short article, it discusses the rates of men and women pedophiles. It states that male pedophiles have a higher rate than female pedophiles for children between the ages of 6 to 12. Lastly, it examines how pedophilic males are more likely to be repeated offenders than pedophilic women and that treatments for males should be stronger. Cohen, L. J., & Galynker, Igor I.
