It is about a boy dressed as wrestler and fights off folktale villains and monsters and opponents such as his two sisters. The story is filled with colorful illustrations that bring the reader's interest. This story is good for a class of diverse students especially ELL. An activity that can be done is to have readers write down their fears and how they fight those fears off. It is a folktale yet still relatable in which students can identify with. This story is about a new student, named Pete who has a hard time fitting in because he is a bully to Ruby. There is one other main character who stands up for Ruby and intervenes the bullying. It brings a great message to the classroom on how to handle bullying and situations as well as a message of morale.
