I took the initiative and enrolled in this program because I am looking to move up within the organization. This program will help enhance my current skills as well as help learn new ones and strengthen my skills that I am not that strong in. Many people are not investing in career development (Antley, 2020). I understand that investing in career development is extremely important based on the goals Ive set for myself. The program is designed to develop leadership skills and the skills and ability to respond quickly to the changes in healthcare, among many other things. This program is a perfect fit for me, and the organization will benefit from the many skills that will be obtained by me. Cohen (2015), œContinuing education in the workplace can be a win-win for both employees and employers (para. 3). Upon completion I expect to have proven to you how these newly obtained skills has helped to improve my job performance, prove that I am ready and capable of taking on a higher role within the organization and most importantly that I am serious about my career and am open to continuously learning.
