Obviously, the answer is yes, but how do we as professionals intervene in helping these children live every day happy lives? Finding a means of prevention is what we will be working on in this read. The hard part is that so many children are sheltered from outside help, and they are trained not to show their feelings and authentic self to anyone outside the household. This leads to delaying the helping process for the child sometimes till it is too late even to intervene and do anything for them. The idea that a child can develop the traits of their families, dysfunction can be overwhelming and very hard to deal, with but it takes a strong person who is willing to give everything to save just one child. Teaching a child self-help and coping skill can and will change how they look at a situation showing them that they are not alone and that someone is always there to help them through any situation. School and educational programs play a significant role in perceiving what they should accept as valid and OK to what they are told is true and OK.
