Employees Rights and Responsibilities Based on the scenario presented, the employees responsibilities are to understand the corporate ethical policy, to attend the new hire ethics training, and to attend an annual ethics training. Each of these responsibilities are important as they ensure that all employees understand and follow the ethical standards on a daily bias. This helps create a company that is known for only engaging in ethical business practices. Additionally, an employee is responsible for showing the employer loyalty, obedience, and confidentiality. Employees work in a competitive labor market, making it their responsibility to also contribute a fair days effort to receive a fair days pay. A2. Employers Ethical Responsibilities It is the employers responsibility to provide the employees with the training needed to understand and adhere to the ethics standards. The employer is responsible for providing ethics training during onboarding as well as an annual training. They are also responsible for all conditions that were accepted in the contract, include things such as; workplace conditions, wages, and benefits. A3.
