The use of these facilitators has raised reasonable questions about whether the answers are the users, or if the facilitator plays a role in the responses given. Even though this method of communication has not been scientifically proven, and is not a treatment recommended or used by behavior analysts, there are many parents, teachers, and even schools that are implementing this method with their non- verbal children.
