Intervention planning and Ethical Considerations.docx ECCE 660 Intervention planning and Ethical Considerations-Action Research Proposal University of Arizona Global Campus ECCE 660 Intervention Description My proposed intervention is how I can improve the understanding of parents/and or caregivers when it involved the importance and benefits of being engaged in their child™s education? The population that I will be working with will benefit from the proposed intervention because they are usually families that are involved in deployments or constant job changes. When they are not away at deployment, they are able to understand the importance and benefits of being involved with their student™s education. Caregivers are able to benefit from this proposal as well due to the fact they are taking care of the student while their parent might be away on deployment, they would be stepping in as the parent and being involved for the events, activities, or work sent home. My proposed intervention would be to implement bi-weekly check ins with the parents/and caregivers, send monthly newsletters, plan parent nights, and to send home travel backpacks each week. This is a great way to get parents and caregivers involved and engaged in their child™s education. It helps them participate and feel welcomed to being involved in their child™s learning. Intervention Plan The intervention plan for helping families/and or caregivers and students will start from the first day or school all throughout the year.
