You can buy or rent out some office space but now you need to make sure there are also equipment needs being met. Ignoring the obvious necessity to furniture and computers, you also need to look into licensing for probably most of the software and applications that will be needed by the overseas workers. Another major thing to keep in mind is to look at the cabling required to even keep up with the duties and functions of this satellite office and if they have what it takes. If you™re going to be holding constant meetings that require streaming but the best you can get for the office is a dial up connection, you may want to consider another location, to name one example. Equipment needs are only one half of the requirements in this situation, unfortunately. You also need to determine the exact use for this space. For instance, is this going to be a call center? If so, are they handling calls that come from the US? Do they speak English?
