IT3358 U1 A1.docx Northrop Grumman Enterprise Security IT3358 Northrop Grumman U1 A1 Project Scope Capella University Abstract As an IT professional, a part our jobs are to protect the information we are withholding. The purpose of this scope is to analyze the security of Northrop Grumman as it stands today. We are also here to propose any recommendations needed to either repair any shortcomings of their system or enhance the system currently in place to combat the ever-evolving world of technology. We will first give you all an introduction to who Northrop Grumman is and exactly what is it they do. Moving forward, we will acknowledge the system they currently have in place. After that, we transition into our recommendations and what it will take to complete the project. Lastly, we present our stakeholders and our ethics. Northrop Grumman Founded in Denver, Colorado in 1994, Northrop Grumman is an integration of 20 companies across aerospace, technology, and defense industries. Well beyond Founders Jack Northrop and Leroy Grumman™s deaths, their legacy and work carried on creating this now global organization. I chose this company due to its legacy of ground-breaking technology development, and the intrigue of playing a role in something that could alter the way we live our lives.
