JRT2 Task 2.docx A. The already developed product to be evaluated is Step Up to IELTS a Cambridge University Press book, which prepares students for the ITELS examination. IELTS is an internation... ally used test to enter universities abroad. It is conducted at the educational center I teach at. Many students choose to study overseas, therefore we teach them on how to pass the IELTS exam.  B. Purpose The evaluation of the material will be summative, which will measure the impact and results of the students knowledge post-course. The questionnaire will be in a Likert scale format to gather quantitative data, which can then be used to understand the impact the material had on the learner. The affective evaluation will compare the products contents next to the educational centers IELTS teaching requirements. Participants The students who will participate in this study are the four ITELS teachers within the center who are well-versed on the requirements of the IELTS test and of the educational board. Measured Performance Objectives In order for a product to be used within the educational center, it must meet the minimum requirements that are set forth by the centers board of directors. In the IELTS exam there are four sections, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The product will be evaluated on how well it meets the requirements in these four sections, which it must do with an 85% success rate.
