While there are many positive attributes to the company, like its ... current sales and its expansion to an international level of business, there are many areas within the company that need to change to maintain company growth as well as provide good business practices for everyone involved. When evaluating the company within the Systems Contingency Model, which the companys effectiveness is defined by the fit of all parts of a company working together to meet environmental and competitive needs, the company is already suffering from negative impacts according to the model. Although the company has been successful through the input and transformation phase of the model, it is the output phase where the group and individual/professional level needs the most improvement. The company growth and market expansion as well as capital expansion has demonstrated that customer satisfaction is being met, but behind-the-scenes of the company, employees are discouraged from doing more than just fulfilling their job description. Between a major potential in employee problems erupting, the strict top-down management approach, the companys rapid growth, and inventory software systems being out-of-date, the company is not working together on many levels, where based on the Systems Contingency Model, friction and negative impacts can affect the entire organization.
