After a thorough review of benchmark data from the past two years Mercy Medical Center will consider implementing a new policy through this pilot training program. 25 administrative staff in total will be selected to pilot this program with 15 being staff volunteers and 10 being randomly selected participants. Representatives from all hospital disciples will be included. The pilot program will help administrative staff understand, implement, and critique the policy for the organization. Feedback from the program will be used to guide the final policy implementation. Promoting Administrative Staff Buy-In Administrative staff have been chosen to pilot this study because they will be the foundation of the new policy. The main objective for administrative staff is to clarify, update, and gather contact information for patients. Without proper contact information the succeeding policy guidelines will be ineffective.
