We tend to use ethics to guide us when it comes to the two. I honestly have never thought of using ethics in a professional setting such as: office, medical field and so forth. We are going to discuss the different theories as well as some advantages and disadvantages. JOELLEN JoEllen was brought into the hospital after an overdose of medication and alcohol. JoEllen had enough energy to communicate she should be at the hospital while in admissions. After that her health and condition were decreasing rapidly. Her son was able to rush into the hospital with a notarized advance directive. This is where things start to get interesting. JoEllen is in a tough spot as she cant confirm her position on her health. In order to be successful in this incident everyone must be willing to have a conversation and do what is right according to the law. The medical staff should have open and good communication with the son.
