A pro about mediation is that the team members are not just trying to resolve the issue themselves but have someone there to help guide them and come up with a resolution together. A con of mediation is that it is not always appropriate for certain situations (Mind Tools Content Team, 2017). Delegation Using the delegation approach, the leader or manager is simply assigning work to the team members. More like splitting the workload up to relieve stress from the team members. This gives responsibility to each member so that there would be no conflict on who has to do what task (9 Tips to Become a More Effective Delegator, 2014).
