Jacob is a loving, smart, affectionate, intelligent, and funny boy, who lives at home with his mother, father, maternal grandma, and baby brother. It has been observed that Jacob engages in high occurrences of physical aggression that appear to be attention seeking. When access to immediate physical interaction (high fives, fist bumps, spins, or hugs) or attention is denied, access to tangibles is inaccessible or when he does not want to complete a demand, Jacob engages in acts of physically aggressive behaviors (hitting, kicking, and pinching) towards other individuals that are near him. This paper describes an intervention support plan designed for Jacob to address his physical aggression, including long term and short term goals ( Sparks, 2021).
