For each case multiple points will be covered, following the process to diagnosis. Presenting symptoms from the clients perspective as depicted within the video and transcript, is discussed. Those presenting symptoms will be applied to the appropriate decision tree, where a potential diagnosis will be identified. An appropriate symptom checklist will be described and applied to the client. Further exploration of the clients case follows by a discussion of an appropriate systemic assessment with explanation of why it is needed and applicable. The final diagnosis is then given, stated with DSM-V and ICD codes and any other relevant Z codes. Lastly, possible medication referral/consultation is covered. Presenting Concerns: Case of Jenny Jenny is a 29-year-old woman who has recently moved back home with her mother after a mutually decided upon split with her previous boyfriend. In reviewing the case, Jennys presenting symptoms include feeling down, like a dark cloud is following her around, lack of motivation, constant fatigue, excessive sleeping, lack of appetite, lack of energy, lack of interest in previously enjoyed activities, and hopelessness.
