GB560Unit2Assignment.docx(1) \ GB540M4: Unit 2 Assignment: Vision and Organizational Success C: Designing, Improving, and Implementing Processes Purdue University Global Section 1- Overview and Goal Description The company I chose was Donor Alliance, a nonprofit designed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), that helps saves lives through organ and tissue donation and transplantation. There are two reasons I chose this company. One, I would love to work for a nonprofit one day and even though the cause may be different, I am interested to learn about any successful nonprofit. Secondly, my uncle received a kidney transplant many years ago which saved his life, so this cause does have personal meaning to me as well. Vision, Mission & Values Donor Alliance vision is “maximizing all donation opportunitiesâ€. Their mission is to “save lives through organ and tissue donation and transplant†and their values are “integrity, leadership, excellence, accountability, and people firstâ€. Their mission is directly related to what they are currently achieving, facilitating organ and tissue donation in Colorado and a majority of Wyoming.
